It’s also the generation of awareness. There’s a new launch in feminism. There’s an increase in “going green” and what it means to “live” and a new connection the importance of careers and jobs—if they really are “who you are.” It’s a generation that uses art and creativity to move forward and bring beauty back to things that have been devoured by indifference. Of course every generation has sub-cultures. I suppose all these things are a sub-culture to the generation of people I know very little about. But this is the generation of “figuring it out” none-the-less and I think with all of this increase in goodness and importance, i think really by now will all this intelligence and creativity, I just really think by now in this generation we’d have gotten enough people together to say, “Pistachio Fro-Yo needs to be on every dessert shelf.”
